  2. Soft soil stabilization
  3. Erosion Control
  4. Drainage
  5. Waterproofing
  6. Separation and Filtration

1. Retaining walls and reinforced slopes

In some places with rough topography, retaining walls are indispensable elements to optimize the construction area to obtain horizontal platforms with the required lifting capacity.

2. Soft soil stabilization

There are many different kinds of soil based on their mechanical and physical properties. Soft soils or with in a low lifting capacity represent a risk for the structures by their tendency to become deformed.

3. Erosion Control

A slope is exposed to erosion when it loss vegetation temporarily or definitively. The erosion is the main cause to generate instability in a natural slope.

4. Drainage

The water accumulation in structures that are in natural contact with soil can generate pushes that repel in the stability and durability of the same ones.

5. Waterproofing

The basic concept of waterproofing is to obtain an impenetrable protection so that the fluids (liquid and gases) can not cause an environmental damage.

6. Separation and Filtration

There are many kinds of soils and it would be necessary to know them to choose the correct materials in a project decision. Some times it is necessary to do a separations between different kind of soil because of theirs different mechanical properties and thus to guarantee that they wont be mixed.
