Slope rehabilitation, Architectural finish |
Project:Reacondicionamiento de Talud natural mediante plantas ornamentales, Arquitectura de Paisaje Place:Bosques de Santa Fe, Cuajimalpa, DF Problem:The problem is about a slope of 4 m height and 1:1 inclinations in a residential area. The slope presented vegetation problems since the soil which it was conformed was an inert land that did not allow the gestation of natural vegetation. A project of landscape architecture specified that the slope could be vegetated with some plants with a suitable material that can offer certain superficial stability and that simultaneously it maintain a certain thickness of vegetal soil to give stability to the roots. Solution:The slope with inert ground could be vegetated by means of the installation of an EGA30 geocell, which was placed in the entire surface. Geocell was placed by means of anchors. Once installed the cells with vegetal earth later received the plants of different characteristics and sizes from of root. This solution was extremely economic to comparison to retire the inert ground and to do a substitution with vegetal earth, such as confined the material perfectly. The geocell gives a superficial stability and maintain permanently to the plants in its place Return to Representative Works >>>
