Erosion control in artificial channel slopes

Erosion control for an artificial channel slopes in facilities of Resort

Problem:

An important hotel chain in México made the construction of an artificial channel within its facilities to take advantage of it like a recreational channel that offered a pleasant vegetated view to the place. As a result of the construction of this channel the slopes needed to be protected.

Solution:

An EGA 30 geocell was chosen to give the protection to these slopes in the entire surface throughout the artificial channel. EGA 30 geocell served to confine the vegetal soil on which later grass rolls were placed. Other cells were used to cultivate some other kind of plants and palms of the locality.
